POWER UP YOUR ABS


   
    

Use a comfy mat or carpet. You back will soon tell you if you need a bit more padding underneath.

1. Make sure you warm up before doing any exercise.
2. Lie on your mat with a straight spine and neck. Hips and shoulders square on to spine.
3. Bring your knees up as shown and feet should be hip width apart.
4. Engage your stomach muscles.
5. Slowly peel yourself up off the floor till you are sitting up
5. Slowly peel yourself back down again. Try not to 'flop' at the end.
6. Don't forget to keep breathing and hardest of all Smile!
7. Use com
mon sense. Stop if it hurts.
8. If you can't get up past your shoulders then put a pillow or cushion under your shoulders and start from there. If you still can't get up then start from sitting up and only going down until your stomach is stronger.
9. Do a few every day and you'll soon see progress.
